''Mark Loves Sharon'' was a six-part Australian television mockumentary parody series about sport, celebrities and reality television. The series sees Jason Gann reprising his role of Mark Wary from the ''The Wedge'', a professional Sports star, that is a parody of controversial real-life sport stars Shane Warne and Wayne Carey. Mark and his long-suffering manager Jerry, decide to allow an observational documentary crew to follow Mark in an attempt to show a sensitive, caring side of the bad-boy celebrity but they reveal a lot more than ever intended. Mark shares his extravagant mansion with gorgeous but feisty girlfriend, Sharon, who tries to keep his wandering eye in check. His entourage are the loyal no-hopers, Sledge and Tomo, who are enjoying the celebrity lifestyle of their celebrity mate.
